It is said that she was responsible for Norah surviving as she weighed only 2 lbs at birth and was born in a heavy late snowstorm which prevented an ambulance getting through to take Norah to the London Hospital MELVILLE is said to have been the clan from which Janet BROWN’s ancestor’s came.
