1881 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire

  2. 1841 Census -St Benedict, Huntingdonshire

1871 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire. There was a George T ALLPRESS, grandson, aged 12, born Wistow, Huntingdonshire and a Louis B BEHAGG a boarder aged 18 an Ag Lab born Wistow, Huntingdonshire with the family.
1881 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
IGI Baptism, father James, mother Elizabeth. There were two other children with parent James and Elizabeth as parents with something like MACKNESS as the surname:
    Mary Mackness, baptised 27th May 1817 Alconbury-Weston, , Huntingdon
    Hephzibah Makenniss , baptised 5th October 1823 Alconbury-Weston, Huntingdon,
    Taken from actual records.
  3. IGI Baptism extracted from actual records
  4. 1841 Census -St Benedict, Huntingdonshire
    1851 Census -Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census -Ripps Road, Martham, Norfolk.
1871 Census -5 Black Street, Martham, Norfolk.
1881 Census -6 Brick Yard, Alfreton, Derbyshire.
1891 Census -Wharf Road, Pinxton, Derbyshire. There was William B ALLPRESS, brother with the family, a Coal Miner.
1901 Census -Wharf Road, Pinxton, Derbyshire,
IGI Baptism extracted from actual records.
  5. There is a registration for an Elizabeth ALLPRESS in December quarter of 1839 in the St Ives district.
  6. IGI Baptism extracted from actual records.
  7. 1841 Census -St Benedict, Huntingdonshire
    1851 Census -Wistow, Huntingdonshire
IGI Baptism extracted from actual records.
  8. 1851 Census -Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1871 Census -21 Silver Street, Stevington, Bedfordshire. There were three children on this Census, Sarah, 7 born London, a Scholar, (we had information about her that she was Sarah Mackness HUGGINS, born March quarter 1864 Newington district, London), George 4 born Derbyshire a Scholar, and William 2 born Hertford. Hepzibah is down as being born in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, but I am certain it is the correct family. As the children's birth place are not specific I think the same applied for Hepzibah.
1881 Census -63 Gomes Street, Willenhall, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. (See 1891 and 1901 Census) finally found Hepzibah with second husband, and down as born in Wistow, Huntingdonshire (Ancestry have indexed is as Weston, but it is Wistow when you look at it) and she has two HUGGINS children with her, so proving I have the correct person. Her husband is a lot older than her, 59 to her 38 and is a locksmith birth place down as N K. There is a Thomas ANSLOW down as son, aged 16 so I would think from a first marriage of her husband. (have now found marriage on BMD)
1891 Census -97 Warrington Road, Pemberton, Lancashire. Hepzipah is down as Hepzipah ANSLOW (see 1901 Census details below) on this census, she appears to have an M for her marital state. She is a Nurse, aged 48 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire. She is a nurse with an Edward AMBROSE, aged 36 a Medical Assistant and Hospital Dispenser born St Helier, Jersey and his wife and five children.
1901 Census -173 Warrington Road, Abram, Lancashire. Hepzipah is with her daughter Sarah BOOTH and her husband Thomas, she is down as Hepzipah ANSLOW, mother-in-law, a widow, aged 58 a Tick Nurse, born Huntingdon,  Huntingdonshire, so certain correct person, but did her husband John HUGGINS die and she married an ANSLOW and then he also died.
IGI Baptism extracted from actual records.
  9.
  10. 1851 Census -Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1871 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire. There was a George T ALLPRESS, grandson, aged 12, born Wistow, Huntingdonshire and a Louis B BEHAGG a boarder aged 18 an Ag Lab born Wistow, Huntingdonshire with the family.
1881 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1891 Census -Wharf Road, Pinxton, Derbyshire. (with his brother James and family)
IGI - given as birth date on IGI but possibly baptism,
  11. 1851 Census -Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
    1871 Census -Not found
1881 Census -68 Aysecouch Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire (6 children on this Census)
1891 Census -71 Annesley? Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire (Sally was not with her husband and family on this Census - Sally not found on this Census) (five children on this Census)
1901 Census -163 Convemore Road, Clee, Grimsby, Lincolnshire (one of the children is married with a daughter)
  12. 1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1881 Census -Gt Wyte, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire - Living with them was Thomas's mother, Sarah Susanna SHEPPERSON aged 53, widow born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, a retired Farmer.
1901 Census -Great Wyte, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire - It appears that Emma had married again, with her and her husband is an Ernest SHEPPERSON, son aged 20 a Bakers and Confectioners Shopkeeper born Ramsey, Hunts.
1911 Census - 113 Great Whyte Ramsey Huntingdonshire
  13. 1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
  14. 1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1871 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire. Georgina was a Domestic Servant with a Ann COPE a widow aged 60 a Grocer, born Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1881 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire (Georgina is down as unmarried on this Census, but information sent to us says she was married in 1880 to Joseph Keely TYLER. There is a marriage for a Joseph Keely TYLER (no females show) on the BMD in September quarter of 1881, so I would think the marriage should be 1881, not 1880)
1901 Census -17 Robert Road, Exeter, Devon. We had Joseph down as being born about 1851 in Huntingdonshire, but I am sure that this is the correct family. They had a son, Wilfred F C H TYLER aged 10 born South Africa.
1911 Census - 98 Bankside Street Leeds, Yorkshire. No husband with her, but she is down as married 29 years, her son Wilfred is now shown as adopted, so they might not have gone to South Africa.
  15. 1871 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire. There was a George T ALLPRESS, grandson, aged 12, born Wistow, Huntingdonshire and a Louis B BEHAGG a boarder aged 18 an Ag Lab born Wistow, Huntingdonshire with the family. (There is only one registration that comes up and that is for Elon - Elousia appears on the 1861 Census, I and not Elon, Elon appears on the 1871 and not Elousia, I believe that they were the same child)
    1881 Census -Not found
1891 Census -45 London Road, Spalding, Lincolnshire  (Down as Ellen on this Census - indexed as TIPPLER)
1901 Census -90 London Road, Spalding, Lincolnshire (Elon is a widow on the Census - indexed as TIPPLER )
1911 Census - 50 Park Road Spalding, Lincolnshire
  16. 1861 Census -Bridge Street, Wistow, Huntingdonshire (There is only one registration that comes up and that is for Elon - Elousia appears on the 1861 Census, I and not Elon, Elon appears on the 1871 and not Elousia, I believe that they were the same child)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
