Down as Elizabeth on this Census she is down as having had 7 children one of whom has died. She is down as having been married 17 years (we only have five children on the chart above at present, so we are two missing, one having died and the other living. I am told that they finally had nine children. So two more after 1911.

  10. On 10th November 2010 I received information about this family from the daughter of Jessie M BARNETT now living in Salem, Oregan, USA. I have from the clues she has given me been able to extend the information on this chart quite extensively. In a reply to an email from me she writes "I am not familiar with the name Elsie, but maybe she had a nick-name. The names that I remember [I don’t know the birth order] are Nen [aunt], Cecil, Jessie May [my mother], Jean and Jack. I do not know my grandmother’s maiden name. Stan was a map-maker, if that is any help. Min lived in Dartford and had a son, Buddie and daughter Gwen. Stan had a son, Graham. My mother was born June24th, 1912. Jack was several years younger. He was in WW11 and had shell-shock when he returned. Cecil was a bookie. He served in WW11."
On 23rd June 2011 a Sandra Walker contact me about this family.
    She says:
You have D S M Barnett b Dec 1919 in Dartford, married Jun 1945 to Bioze J Longo as being the daughter of Frederick John Barnett. She is in fact the daughter of Frederick’s brother – Sidney George Barnett and his wife Sarah Mills and sister to my grandmother Emily Alice Isobel Bunton (nee Barnett).
Her name was Doris Sarah May Barnett born on 27th October 1919 at 21 Overy Street, Dartford. She and Uncle Ben (Bioze) had three children all of whom are in America and I’ve not seen them since the 1960s. Aunt Doris made a couple of trips to the UK that I remember; the last time staying with my uncle in Worcestershire, where my grandmother went to visit. Their mother Sarah made her first visit to the States to see Doris and family in her 70s (in the mid 1950s) and there was an article about her in the local newspaper. Sarah (or Sally) as everyone called her died in 1968 when I was 5 years old. I remember both Sarah (Great-granny Barnett) and Auntie Doris though not Uncle Ben.
Sandra has since contacted me again with further information and I have not made the corrections, amendments and additions she has sent to the above charts, Doris Sarah May has been removed from this chart and now appears on BARNETT Chart 0306.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
