    1916 Possible death, as family appear to have been in Merchant Navy this is the most like death, we were given by a relative just the date 16th December 1916 so quite possible the death was in fact on the 1st.

    There were two marriages for a Leonard William BENNETT in Bristol district, Gloucestershire, the first as shown on chart above in March quarter 1942 to an Iris May COGGINS and the second in December quarter 1943 to a Ruth JEFFERIES. I am not 100 per cent certain which one Leonard married but having found a baptism in Bedminster which is where this family lived of a Philip BENNETT born 8th April 1951 with baptism on 1st July 1951 with parents Leonard William BENNETT and mother Iris May BENNETT I think it is more than likely that it was Iris May that he married. So I have put a chart on for this couple, but recorded here that there was another marriage just in case I have chosen the wrong one.
