So I looked for a Denis A WHEELER who married a Josephine and the following comes up, Denis A WHEELER married September quarter 1953 Surrey South Eastern district, Surrey A Josephine M HOLDEN. I have been looking for a child of Albert Edward HOLDEN and Mabel Blanch BIGNALL as on the 1939 Census there is a record officially closed after Mabel which usually indicates a child but I have not been able to find a Josephine M HOLDEN with the mothers name as BIGNALL or BIGNELL but I do think that Josephine was indeed a child of this couple..The only person near it is a Josephine N HOLDEN born September quarter 1929 Reigate district, Surrey but her mothers maiden name is given as WARE. There is then a marriage on 25th August 1928 at Christ the King, Salfords Horley, Surrey of a Frederick George HOLDEN, he married a Violet Ethel WARE, so as in corrected area I would think this was this Josephine. Frederick and Violet appear on the 1939 Census with three children Audrey A, Elizabeth and Michael but no Josephine. They are down as being born in 1933 1936 and 1939 but before the 1939 entry there is one record officially closed so this could be Josephine.
