Possibly an American GI 1939 Saint Antonys Green Lane , Godalming M.B., Surrey, 1946 Ruby Joyce BIRD and her daughter Susan aged 2 arrived 14th January 1946 at Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada having sailed from Liverpool on the "Stavangerfjord", Ruby is down as a Housewife born in Cranleigh and her daughter Susan is down as being born in Guildford 1946 Ruby Joyce BIRD down as being born 11th November 1917 in Cranley (sic), Surrey arrived at Port Huron, Michigan, USA, her father is down as Job Henry DURBRDIGE of Godalming, Surrey she was accompanied by her daughter Susan and her arrival contact is husband Andrew BIRD, whose address is given as 7011 S. English Avenue, Springfield, Illinois, she is down as going to reside permanantley. She had a British Passport valid to 14th December 1950. She had arrived on th C.N Ry she was 5ft 5in with fair complexion, brown hair and gray eyes and she had arrived at Halifaxc Nova Scotia on 14th January 1946 on the SS Stavangerfjord
