  1. 1861 General Shop, Chapel Lane, Ramsgate, Kent
1871 Chapel Row, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent (Blassland on Ancestry.com)
1881 2 Back of 69 Kent Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Living as son-in-law with George LAMMING (45)Labourer born Rothwell, Lincolnshire.
Also in the premises was George’s wife Elizabeth, and sons George (27 years) and John (13 years) both born Caistor, Lincolnshire.
1891 Not found. Not with the rest of the family.
1901 197 Hope Street, Clee, Lincolnshire
1911 20 Railway Street, Grimsby, Lincolnshire as W E J BLASTLAND. Living with them was granddaughter Fanny BLASTLAND (2) born Grimsby, Lincolnshire
On the 1911 census William listed all his living children including the 5 who were married: sons GWD (26) and H Edmun (22) both Labourers Fish House and Edward (20) "Soldger" (sic); daughters AE (28) and Harriet (24). However, on the 1911 Edward is shown as single and the marriage we have found for him was not until 1919
  2. 1881 2 Back of 69 Kent Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
1891 1 Church Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire, husband not present. Living with her Father and Mother, and her brother Tom (23) Blacksmith born Caistor, Lincolnshire
1901 197 Hope Street, Clee, Lincolnshire
1911 20 Railway Street, Grimsby, Lincolnshire as Fanny BLASTLAND. Living with them was granddaughter Fanny BLASTLAND (2) born Grimsby,
    Lincolnshire
On the 1911 census Fanny is shown as having 10 children of which 8 survive. There were no possible children in the Grimsby District, Lincolnshire, but in the Caistor District, Lincolnshire all the children except two belonged to this family. and those two children died young. it has therefore been assumed they are the two of Fanny's children who died.
Daughter of George LAMMING and Elizabeth LAMMNG
  3.
  4. 1891 1 Church Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire as Elizabeth
1901 164 Rutland Street, Clee, Lincolnshire. Visiting Polly TRUE (23) wife and her son Thomas R (3) both born
    Grimsby, Lincolnshire
1911 6 Hunter Terrace Liverpl St, Sculcoates, Yorkshire. My sister could not find this family on the 1911 but I am sure this is the correct family but they are down as VIEN, but looking at the actual Census it is OIEN and he is down as Edward U C Johanson OIEN but again the U is an O. They had a daughter Mary Ann Johanson OIEN aged 7 months born Hull, Yorkshire. (September quarter 1910 Sculcoates district, Yorkshire. Edward is down as an Alien on the Census and they are down as being married three years. Only one child on the census, but it is shown that there were two, both still living. There are only three OIEN births on the BMD before 1915 and only one, other than Mary before her birth in 1910 and the marriage of Ann and Edward hat is of a Fanny Wilhelmina E OIEN in Grmsby district in March quarter 1909. I cannot find her on the 1911 Census. However Fanny married in Grimsby in March quarter 1928 to Wilfred ROWLEY, her initials on this Census are Fanny W E C J I think that with the C J in that this must have been the other daughter. Also there is a marriage for Mary A J OIEN in June quarter 1935 in Grimsby to a George E PINDAR.
  5. 1891 1 Church Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire as Isaac. Living with grandparents George and Elizabeth LAMMING

  7. 1891 1 Church Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire as Edmund

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
