However searching on the 1881 for a Jane born in Batley Yorkshire there is a Jane A KAYE. On the BMD in the September quarter 1881 there is a Jane A KAYE marriage and only one male shows up with the reference number 9b 1040. The reference number for George Armitage is 9b 1010 as the numbers are very close I think the one for George is a misprint and should be 9b 1040 and that Jane Ann KAYE. 1891 Census - 35 Fall Lane, Dewsbury, Yorkshire 1897 West Town, Batley Carr, Yorkshire (baptism of Dora) 1901 Census - 38 Huddersfield Road, Dewsbury, Yorkshire 1911 9 Low Road, Dewsbury Moor, Dewsbury, Yorkshire.
