  1. 1860 Paradise Road, Lambeth, London (at marriage) Father William BURCH - Millwright.
1861 Census - 7 Paradise Road, Kennington, London. There are no children at all with the family, which seems strange, but I am certain it is the correct couple as he is down as being born in Shalford and she in Worplesdon, which although is not where we have her down for, she was the only child not down as not being born in Worplesdon. With them is a Catherine BURCH, mother, age 52 (lives with her son) born Wonersh, Surrey.
1871 1 Nailour Street, Islington, Middlesex. With them is a Catherine BURCH, mother, age 64 born Wonersh, Surrey. Also a Augusta BENFIELD a widow age 60 a Monthly Nurse, born Westminster, London. See Note 4, as in this Census there were no children, but the information given to us showed Edward BURCH born 1851, Mary Burch 1853, William BURCH 1858 and Ellen BURCH 1859, but I think these dates are wrong as on this Census, Catherine born in 1861 is the eldest, then there is T born 1863 in Lambeth, Surrey and then Ellen born 1868  in Islington. I have rearranged the children to these dates, but we still have not had an Edward or Mary. I have now found the marriage on the BMD and they did not marry until 1860 so it is unlikely that the 1850? dates are correct.
1881 Census - 4 Blunden Street, Islington, Middlesex. Only the two children on this Census, but William is down as being 9, so either this is incorrect as it has been altered on the Census or the first William died and they named another child with the same name.
  2. 1860 Worplesdon, Surrey (at marriage)
1891 Census - Lower Farm, Frimley, Surrey. Ellen is with the family of Rees Edward HALL and Catherine on this Census, her son is also with them. She is still down as married, not as a widow. Again the first children of Reed Edward HALL do not tie up exactly with the information give to us. For where born for William it says c/o Cork, Ireland, something I have not seen before.

    Between 1862-1872 Cork, Munster, Ireland

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
