1901 Census - 35 Banstead Street, Peckham, Camberwell, London. Alice BURROUGHS and her children were with her parents. William George BURROUGHS was not with them. Have done a search for a William George BURROUGHS on the 1901 Census, but there is no obvious candidate. Additional information for this family has come from a Roy MILES the son of Alice Lily BURROWS. He tells me there were in total ten children for William and Alice, I think I have traced six at the present time. Thee are 40 registrations for the name BURROWS in the Camberwell district between 1900 and 1920 so I cannot decide which of these other than the three Edward, Eileen and Frederick whose mothers maiden name is shown are part of this family
