DOUGHTON
  1. 1891 Census - 81 Plevna Road, Tottenham, Middlesex.
  2. 1881 Census - 4 Ottaway Cottages, Hackney, Middlesex.
  3. I think I have the correct marriage on the BMD. their were two Sarah's but on the 1841 there is a DELLOW family living with the BYSOUTH's and I have found a Sarah DELLOW born Berkway in 1846, living in Reed, Hertfordshire on the 1861 Census, so I am fairly certain that he married a Sarah DELLOW
  4. 1871 Census - 1 Difton? Villa, Clifton Road, Hackney, Middlesex. In the same premises was a Edward BYSOUTH and family. Edward was two year older than John. He was a Stonemason, at this stage John was a Stonemason's Labourer. I would think they were brothers, both born in Reed, Hertfordshire. There was also a James BYSOUTH, in the same property down as a Brother and yet another family of BYSOUTH, so possibly yet another Brother, a William BYSOUTH aged 24 and his wife and family. Both James and William were born in Reed, Hertfordshire. Will put a chart on for them all if I can find the parents on a previous Census. Bother James and William were also Stonemason Labourer's. As I will need to find this information again the Census information is RG10; Piece: 322; Folio: 42; Page: 25
  5. 1861 Census - Green, Reed, Hertfordshire
  6. 1851 Census - Billingsgate, Reed, Hertfordshire. All children down as "At Home" for occupation
  7. 1841 Census - Reed, Hertfordshire
  8. IGI Baptism (original documents)
  9. IGI Marriage (submitted by a member of the LDS). But hopefully it confirms what I want and that was that Edward and Samuel on the Chart above were children of Samuel and Ann and the IGI confirms that if the person submitting the information is correct. There is also a marriage on the IGI extracted from the actual records, this shows the marriage as being in 1839, also the name GILBEY was confirmed by Eric BYSOUTH (see Note 28) on 18th November 2007
  10. 1871 Census - Reed, Hertfordshire. Two children on this Census - RG10; Piece: 1360; Folio: 68; Page: 10
  11. 1871 Census- Mill Farm, Reed, Hertfordshire
  12. 1881 Census - 3 Fairfield Road, West Hackney, Hackney, London - RG11; Piece: 305; Folio: 87; Page: 8
  13. 1881 Census - Billingsgate, Reed, Hertfordshire
  14. 1881 Census - 4 Southgate Villa, Milton Road, Tottenham, Middlesex,
  15. 1881 Census - Fiddlers Green, Reed, Hertfordshire
  16. 1891 Census - Fiddlers Green, Reed, Hertfordshire
  17. 1901 Census - 81 Pleyna Road, Tottenham, Middlesex.
  18. 1891 Census - Fidlers Green, Reed, Hertfordshire
  19. 1901 Census - Fidlers Green, Reed, Hertfordshire. There was a Frederica M BYSOUTH aged 6 Granddaughter born Reed, Hertfordshire with the family on this Census.
  20. 1891 Census - 1 ??? Road, Tottenham, Middlesex. The name of the Road, is crossed out at the top of the Census page and on all the previous pages. I think it is possibly Fairbourne as on the 1901 Census in Note 21
  21. 1901 Census - 28 Fairbourne Road, Tottenham, Middlesex.
  22. 1891 Census - 1 Thames Villa, Prittlewell, Essex
  23. 1881 Census - 65 Morning Land, West Hackney, London
  24. 1901 Census - Pine Villa, Osborn Road, Prittlewell, Essex
  25. 1891 Census - Cottage, High Street, Reed, Hertfordshire
  26. 1901 Census - Billingsgate, Reed, Hertfordshire. Hannah BYSOUTH was with her youngest daughter, her husband and family on this Census.
  27. 1891 Census - Billingsgate, Reed, Hertfordshire.
  28. Further information for this family was given to me by email by a Eric BYSOUTH on 18th November 2007.
  29. IGI Marriage

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
