There was a Sarah MARSH aged 72 a Lodgers a Fundholder born Sutton, Kent with the family on this Census 1871 Census - 74 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. All the children are down as being born in Whitfield on this Census, but I think that is incorrect and that they were born in Ramsgate, 1901 Census - 13 Broadway, Ealing, Middlesex. Joseph was a Boarder. He was at no 13 with two Boarder and a Servant. I think the main person was at no 11 who was an Eleanor SMITH aged42 a Ladies and Childrens Outfitter, an Employer born Saffron Walden, Essex 1881 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. 1891 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. All the children are down as being born in Whitfield on this Census, but I think that is incorrect and that they were born in Ramsgate, 1901 Census - 17 Broad Street, Teddington, Middlesex. Hilda is down as an Assistant at no 17 with two others. The head lived at no 16 a Richard DYER aged 57 born Berrynarbour, Devon. He was the Draper. 1881 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. 1891 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. All the children are down as being born in Whitfield on this Census, but I think that is incorrect and that they were born in Ramsgate. 1901 Census - 29 Cotton Street, Poplar, London. Edward (down as E W) was a visitor with a Sophia JONES a Lodging House Keeper 1881 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. 1891 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent. All the children are down as being born in Whitfield on this Census, but I think that is incorrect and that they were born in Ramsgate, 1901 Census - 14 Clifton Road, Hammersmith, London. Charles was a lodger with an Alfred J NOWELL aged 26 a Schoolmaster, born Wick, Gloucestershire. Alfreds mother was with them. 1891 Census - 92 Hardies, Street, Ramsgate, Kent.
