  1. 1871 Albury Farm, Merstham, Surrey. I am sure this is the right family, but Thomas A is down as being born in Merstham, his father in Reigate and his mother in Dorking. There is not a Thomas CHANDLER on any other Census born in 1871 in Reigate. Having been sent a further family tree for this family, I am now certain this is the correct family, however some of the children on this chart do not tie up with the ages given on this Census.
1901 1 Gibson Street, Greenwich, London. There is a family which fits the family of Thomas Chandler, from the information I have received from a Barry W J in Sweden. The father is Thomas CHANDLER, aged 39 born Reigate, Surrey, a Tram driver, his wife is Jane, aged 36 born Ealington? Huntingdonshire. The children are Florence aged 3 born Finsbury London and Thomas aged 1 born Greenwich. (there was another child Frank born after this. I have to find this information before putting on CHANDLER Charts 0400 and 0500 as I have a Wedding picture to include on CHANDLER Chart 0400 and a Studio Photo for CHANDLER 0500
Barry CHANDLER in Sweden writes about the above picture thus: In the studio family photo: Thomas Augustus Chandler with wife Jane holding son Frank Fuller Chandler on her knee, with again Thomas Arthur Chandler now much younger in a sailor’s suit and in the front sister Florence Chandler. At a guess
Thomas Arthur got used to the name Florence at an early age although sister Florence was always known as Cis until she went on pension, and
wife Florence was always known as Floss.
  2. 1871  Ellington, Huntingdonshire. Have found the family of Jane FAIREY in Ellington. Will put a chart on for this family. I am trying to connect the Elizabeth FAIREY on STOKES Chart 0503 with the Jane FAIREY on this Chart, and have now found that they were sisters. On this Census the father of Jane was David FAIREY, Age 46 an Ag Lab, his wife Mary aged 47, his children, Charlotte, aged 21, Martha, aged 12, Emma, aged 10, and Jane aged 8 all born Ellington, Huntingdonshire.

  7. Although I have information on the open boxes on this Chart I do not intend putting them onto the Web Site. These families are a long way from our research. Anybody wanting information can contact me by using my Feedback form on the home page and I will then forward the message to Barry CHANDLER who has done the research for this family.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
