  1. 1861 Census - 1 Back of Pilok Place, Milton, Gravesend, Kent
  2. 1871 Census - 2 Gladstone Place, Gravesend, Kent. Sarah's husband Joseph was not at home on this Census
  3. 1891 Census - 11 Church (down as Ch) Crescent, Milton in Gravesend. Hepzibah is down as a Widow. So her husband had died before that date. she has two children, Bertie 9 and Alfred 5, both Scholars and both born in Bermondsey, London. She is not the Head, her father Joseph is the Head of Household, also a Widow. Hepzibah COOK is down as daughter so confirming I have the right person. (Cannot find COOK family on 1881 Census a present)
  4. 1901 Census - 25 Wellington Street, Milton, Kent. James and Alfred COOK are boarders in Milton, Kent. I am sure they must be the children of James and Hepezibah. Possibly Hepezibah has also died by 1901 as I cannot find her on this census. Alfred is the correct age and born in Bermondsey but living in Milton, Kent which is where his mother was born. James is with him, I did not have James as a child before but as he is with Alfred and born in Bermondsey I think he is also a son of James and Hepezibah. Will change this if I find anything else about the family. They are lodging with a Lewis and Ann WINGFIELD who  at present I cannot find a connection to a family. I thought as they had moved back to Milton there might be a connection.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
