Avies is down as Croply Avis on Census. There was a Granddaughter with the family, she was born in 1862 in Eston, Yorkshire, but her name is very difficult to read. Ancestry.com has made Everlena ANNEAR which I agree it looks like. (I have now searched for the surname ANNEAR on the 1871 Census and found that the first child which we had as M A CROPLEY on the 1851 Census was a Mary and had married a John ANNEAR, as Mary is down as being born in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire it confirms that it is the correct family and Everlena is a daughter of Mary and John 1851 Wood Street, St James's Place, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, Four lodgers with the family. 1871 26 California, Eston, Yorkshire 1881 Old Rows, Comforth, Durham 1851 Wood Street, St James's Place, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, Four lodgers with the family. 1861 No 35 California, Eston and Ormesby, Yorkshire. 1871 50 ???, Eston, Yorkshire.
