  4. The marriage I have shown is that shown on the Charts I was sent, but I already have this marriage for a Jane DACOMBE, daughter of Charles on DACOMBE Chart 0701 so one of them must be incorrect.

There is also a marriage as follows 25th December 1837. Hinton Martel Dorset witnesses Thomas HABGOOD. Joseph DEW to a Charlotte HABGOOD, so this could be the correct marriage not the one I have shown above, but the one I have shown shows Caleb as father of James whereas this one shows no father. However the first child on the charts I have been sent was born in 1837, so it does leave some doubt in my mind to which of these marriages is correct. The charts just show the wife as a Charlotte.. As can be seen I have now found family on 1861 and as Charlotte was born in St Giles, Wimborne I think the marriage I have shown above is the correct one of the two

  14. I started putting the DACOMBE charts on on 15th August 2012, At the present time I am just using the information given to me in the form of large handwritten charts. I am at present not looking any further than using this information. When I have completed them all I will go through again and see what additional information I can find.

I am slowly adding details for this chart, I have added additional information to that sent to me and changed some of the names and dates when looking at the actual documents on-line. As can be seen in Note 4 I have also started to find family on certain Censuses

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
