William had four younger siblings on this Census.

    On the 1881 Census the wife of William George is shown as Rebecca E and on the 1891 Census it is shown as Eliza R, there appears to be a difference in age but the 1891 Census is not all that clear so this could be wrong, and they were both born in Hoxton, so it could be the same person. On checking BMD Website it becomes clear that it is the same person and that they married in 1877 and her surname was WARD

    1911 Census - 33 Chapter Road, Southwark, SE. With them was a William DACKOMBE aged 11 born Grays, Essex. Having found this marriage etc I think that William was the son of Aquilla George DACKOMBE and his late wife Emma DACKOMBE née LOMAS
    Ellen Arabella is down as DUCKOMBE on the BMD marriages and I would think this is how she appears as I did not pick up her name when I went through the BMD many years ago at St Katherine's House, Kingsway.

    I have left this chart for a number of years as I was not certain who of three men she married. However there is two births on the BMD with ALEXANDER as the main name and DACKOMBE as the mother's maiden name, and then on the 1911 Census there is the family with a Benedict ALEXANDER as the Head and a Carline ALEXANDER born in Walworth as the mother - details as above for family. There is a small problem as on the 1911 Census Caroline birth year is given as 1876 whereas she was born in 1871/2 but I am fairly confident that this is the correct family

    I have found four baptisms as shown above between 1900 and 1905 in Walworth for the name TOSSELL with Charles as the father and Emily Ada as the mother so certain correct family, but it is proving difficult finding the family on the 1901 and 1911 but now I have more information I will try again qas they should be at least on the 1901 with a daughter  Ellen Rosetta who was baptised in 1900.
    I have an entry for the SIMPSON family on the 1891 Census, living with them was a Emma DACKOMBE, niece, 10 years old, as the only person who can possibly fit this position is Emily Ada on this chart I now believe that she had not died but was living with her Aunt and Uncle, would called her Emma for the census.
    Having now got the marriage certificate for Henry Wade SIMPSON to Ellen Louise LOMAS in 1892 I find an Emma DACKOMBE as a witness to the wedding, if it was this Emma (Emily) she would have only been twelve years old.

    There is a Ronald M HOPKINS born September quarter 1921 West Ham district with KEFFORD as the mother maiden name. As both of the last children appear to have had a child in the West Ham district, I would think they both moved to this area and the children do indeed belong to these families.
