  1. 1841 Census - Bayton Place, St Peters, Newington, Surrey - Down as DEACKOMTE on this Census. There was a Martha HARRISON down as aged 15 with the family. (Down as Richard on this Census)
1851 Census - Tug Mutton? Farnborough, Kent
1861 Census -  8 Brunswick Place, Stepney, London
1871 Census - 29 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey. Mary ARNOLD, aged 70 a Widow aged 70 was the Head, assume mother of Mary ARNOLD above. Mary Tibble DACKOMBE is down as Mary TIBBLE on this Census. Family are down as DACCUN on this Census.
1877 Address at Marriage - Bethnal Green
1881 Census  -5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey
1891 Census  - 5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey
1901 Census  - 5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey. On the 1901 Census living with Richard and Mary as Boarders were Charles Wallace and William Raby
The marriage information comes from Doreen Williams and she suggests that the first child might have been Mary TIBBLE not DACKOMBE from Mary ARNOLD’s first marriage and that the Richard, Alfred and John were born before they finally married
  2. 1871 Census - 29 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey.
On the 1891 Census by coincidence there is a TIBBLE family living next door at 3 Hard Street and I wonder if there is a connection with the idea that Mary had a first marriage to a TIBBLE.
The Head of the house is William TIBBLE aged 24 Costermonger and could therefore possibly be Mary’s son falling between Mary TIBBLE and Richard Aquilla on this chart. His wife is Jane (23) son William (3) and Ellen (8 months) All born St Mary Newington..
On the 1881 Census at 26 Hard St, there lived an Eliza TIBBLE, Head, Widow, Sawdust Hawker, and her family, Henry (26) Hawker, Elizabeth (17) Housemaid, Rebecca (15) Servant and William (13) Scholar. This I think discounts Note 10 as I think this must be the one in Note 10, but I still feel there must be a connection.
  3. 1861 Census - 19 New Street, Newington, Surrey. George was a lodger
  4. 1871 Census - 29 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey. Mary ARNOLD, aged 70 a Widow aged 70 was the Head, assume mother of Mary ARNOLD above. Mary Tibble DACKOMBE is down as Mary TIBBLE on this Census. Family are down as DACCUN on this Census.
  5. 1871 Census - 29 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey. Mary ARNOLD, aged 70 a Widow aged 70 was the Head, assume mother of Mary ARNOLD above. Mary Tibble DACKOMBE is down as Mary TIBBLE on this Census. Family are down as DACCUN on this Census.
  6. 1891 Census -5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey
1892 5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey (at marriage)
1901 Census - 17 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey
1911 Census - 182 Trafalgar Street, Walworth, London
1939 43 Penrose Street, Walworth Surrey
Alfred Dackombe of 43 Penrose Street, Walworth, London, died 19th December 1939 at 42 Elm Grove, Peckham, London (Admin) London 6th February to Emily Dackombe, widow. Effects £233 17s 8d.
On 23rd June 2003 I received an email from Ann Parnell about gravestones, Lynn Allen had found at Camberwell New Cemetery, Honor Oak, London, Emily, Alfred and I assume son Alfred were definitely included in the information she gave me.
  7. 1891 Census -5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey
  8. 1891 Census -5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey
1900 At Marriage - 5 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey (had a job placing this marriage but as William Henry was living at 5 Hard Street at time of marriage I am certain this is the correct person. Louisa's father was a William GODFREY, a Sack Repairer
1911 Census - Cannot find at present
1912 Marriage - Louisa remarried on 6th December 1912 at St John the Evangelist, in Walworth to a George PETIT a widower a Toy Maker living at 26 Brandon Street, whose father was John PETIT an Ostler who was dead. She was living at 26 Brandon Street, down as a Dealer and her father is down as William GODFREY a Blacksmith. The witnesses were W J SNOAD and E J SNOAD

1901 Census - 112 Portland Street, St Peter Walworth, Newington, Surrey. Only Charles as son on this Census aged 1 born Walworth, Surrey.
1911 Census - Cannot find at present. I think Charles Henry ROSE died June quarter 1902 Southwark district. Aged 2, Alfred Richard ROSE died September quarter 1900 Aged 0.
  10. 1871 Census - 29 Hard Street, Newington, Surrey. Mary ARNOLD, aged 70 a Widow aged 70 was the Head, assume mother of Mary ARNOLD above. Mary Tibble DACKOMBE is down as Mary TIBBLE on this Census. Family are down as DACCUN on this Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
