He has also put down the ages of his children the 2 boys 59 and 45 and the two girls 57 and 45. (note all family have been listed on this census, three children had died and these are listered and out of the six children they had had only only two were living with them. All the others have been crossed through. Because everyone is listed I have put everything on that appears on Census even if it has been crossed through but have noted the bits that are crossed through)
William HIGGBOTHAM aged 52 General Labourer Building Trade born Shoreditch, London. Mary Ann Elvyn HIGGINBOTHAM aged 51 down as having been married 29 years and having had 6 children 3 survive and 3 had died at the date of this Census. THEN THE NEXT FOUR CHILDREN HAVE BEEN CROSSED THROUGH, THEY WERE
Emma Florence HIGGINBOTHAM down as being 17 months and born in Shoreditch, London (so she had died before this Census) Annie HIGGINBOTHAM aged 25 Machinist ??? Frocks Millinery born Shoreditch, London (as 25 I think this child was still alive but not living at home) Ellen? Elizabeth HIGGINBOTHAM aged 15 months born Shoreditch, London (again because of age given she had died before this Census). William Henry HIGGINBOTHAM aged 9 months born Shoreditch, London (again because of age he had died before this Census) this makes form those crossed through 1 living and 3 having died, there are then two children not crossed through so still at home which makes the 6 children, 3 alive and 3 who had died which the mother states on this census. So the last two entries are: Emma Florence HIGGINBOTHAM aged 18 a Mantle Machinist Tailoring born Shoreditch, London and Louisa May HIGGINBOTHAM aged 16 Leather work Bag Makers born Shoreditch, London.
(again not some of the name not easy to read especially those crossed through, I will try to find birth registrations, deaths etc and confirm there names, the year of birth etc)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
