    Official information has been received that Able Seaman Albert Ingram DINES, of Leysdown, a son of Mr. W. Dines, and who had been reported missing since January, must be now presumed dead. He was 32 years of age and joined the Royal Navy about two years ago, from Northfleet, where he had previously been employed as a builder's labourer. He leaves a widow (Mrs. A. I. Dines), of 21, The Hill, Northfleet, and two young sons.

    ThE wedding took place at St. Botolph's Church, Northfleet on Saturday of Mr. David Gerald Dines, son of Mr. and Mrs, Dines, 3 Huntley avenue, Northfleet, and Miss Rosemary Anne Earnshaw, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Earnsahw, 40, Scott Road, Gravesend.
    The Rev. Douglas Glanfield officiated.
    The bride, given away bu her father, wore a full-length dress of white duchesse satin embroidered with applique roses at neck and hem. Her shoulder-length veil was held in place by two white roses. 
    She carried a bouquet of red roses and fern.
    She was attended by Miss Pearl and Miss Zena Dines, younger sisters of the bridegroom, who wore full-length dresses of blue satin boleros.
    Their Headdresses were of blus roses.
    Miss Helen Wood, cousin of the bride, wore a full-length dress of blue satin brocade with a matching bolero. her headdress was of blue hyacinth pips.
    They all carried bouquests of pastel coloured sweet peas.
    Mr. Ingram DInes (bridegroom's brother) was best man.
    The reception at St Botolph's Church Hall was attended by 120 guests.
    Mr. and Mrs Dines left later for their honeymoon which is being spent at Osra Island. The bride wore a turquioise suit with black and white accessories.
