John is down as a Widower aged 38 a Bricklayer born Warboys, he is down as a Brother to Frederick CUSTANCE who is head of household and a Builder own account, also with them was Emma CUSTANCE sister aged 29 a Dressmaker aged 29, Jane CUSTANCE sister, aged 27 a Dressmaker and Martha A sister, aged 21 a dressmaker all born Warboys, Huntingdonshire.
    1911 High Street, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. It is possible that this is this John CUSTANCE he is the right age born in Warboys, Huntingdonshire and is a Builder. his wife is Elizabeth and he has only been married 4 years, they have had no children, she is 45 and born in Warboys, Huntingdonshire. With them is a Stanley CUSTANCE down as a Stepson aged 13 School born Warboys, Huntingdonshire. I have not found John and the wife we had, Eliza on the 1901 Census, but possible Eliza had died and John was a Widow, but at present cannot work out how the Stepson is named CUSTANCE, if is was Eliza's child it would still be John's child, if it was Elizabeth's from a first marriage it would not be CUSTANCE. More research needed.
