It appears as though the family finished up in Chicago, as this was where Johnson DRING the father was buried. This family on the 1830 Census has the right age for Edward, they are in Chicago, the came from England via Canada (the three children on this Census were born there) and they have a son Johnson, I think the combination of these facts confirms this as the correct Edward. Unfortunately Edward is the only male child of Johnson DRING and Sarah Ann SMITH so at the present time I am unable to find any of the other children in the US or Canada. 1881 Grandy Lane, Hawkshead Monk Coniston, Skelwith, Lancashire 1891 Croft End, Broughton Mills, West Broughton, Lancashire. 1901 Guys Hospital London 1916 Manitoba, Saskaatchewan and Albert Census- 481 Craig, Winnipeg South,m Manitoba, Canada 1930; Census Place: Chicago, Cook, Illinois; Roll: 441; Page: 12B; Enumeration District: 591; Image: 749.0. According to the 1930 census for Chicago City, Cook County, Illinois State, USA Dinah married aged 26. Dinah Married Edward Oliver DRING. Edward emigrated to Canada it is thought in 1902 with his parents and siblings. Dinah's daughter Hilda was born in 1906 in Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada so presumably Dinah either travelled to Canada with Edward where they married or she followed later and they married. We have not yet found when or where exactly they were married. There is no marriage on the English freebmd so it is thought they married in Canada.
