  2. 1910 96 Priory Road, West Croydon, Surrey (at baptism) Father Emil Frederick OTTO,an Iron Moulder, mother Ethel Ellen OTTO. baptised at the same time were Alfred Emil OTTO born 8th June 1897, Ida Olga OTTO born 29th December 1901 (she was a witness at Ethel Robina's wedding so confirming I have it correct) and Willie Arthur OTTO born 13th November 1904. (I would think the family were possibly of German descent and as happened quite frequently over the 1914-1918 they changed there name to a more English sounding one.
    1911 96 Priory Rd, Croydon, Surrey. No father, Mother Eshel OTTO down as having been married 14 years and having had 4 children all survive at the date of this Census. she was born in Kentish Town, London, Children Alfred aged 13 a Domestic Servant House Boy born Kentish Town, London, then Ethel born Galashiels, Scotland, Ida aged 9 born Battersea, London, Willia aged 6 born Croydon, Surrey and then Mabel MATTHEWS niece aged 5 born Croydon, Surrey
