    On the marriage certificate the fathers of both William and Ann are given as deceased with no details about either of them.

    1881 Census -  42 Herman Road, Camberwell, Surrey. With Annie and her two children were Mary A SIMPSON, niece Artificial Flower Maker, Age 16 Walworth Surrey. (this gave me another child on the Simpson chart. George FORD brother-in-law age 35 Landing Clerk, born Dockhead, Surrey England, there was also three lodgers Joseph W HAWKINS, George FULLER and James LAW, aged 36, 24 and 20 with occupations given as Tram Car Conductor, Tram Car Driver and Tram Car Washer. They came from St James, Middlesex, Fakenham Norfolk and Greenwich, Kent.
    On the marriage certificate the fathers of both William and Ann are given as deceased with no details about either of them.
