    Information we had says that John Charles FREESTONE married a Ann SNOWDEN, but the BMD comes up with a Gertrude M SNOWDEN in the right area and about the right time.

They had a boarder a George SIMCO? aged 23 no occupation or birth place given, Elizabeth NICHOLS a Servant aged 16 born Bletchley, Buckinghamshire. Then siblings Nellie M SNOWDEN aged 5 born Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, Elizabeth SNOWDEN aged 3 born Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, John E SNOWDEN aged 2 born Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. Finally there was Gertrude M aged 11 months born Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire.
    1891 Fountain Villas, Enfield, Middlesex. Gertrude was a Visitor with a John CLARTOUR?, aged 71 a Clerk Rope and Mat had? born Enfield, Middlsex, Calra his wife aged 73 born Sheffield,Yorkshire there was also an Emily L TURNER a Niece aged 12 born manchester, Lancashire with them.
    1901 Exchange Street, Peterborough, Northamptonshire. There was a Jessie PEACH a Servant aged 23 a General Servant Domestic born Birmingham, Warwickshire with the family.
    1911 8 Exchange Street, Peterborough, Northamptonshire. Gertrude was with her mother a Harriett SNOWDEN a Widow aged 61 born Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire and her siblings, Elizabeth Sarah aged 33 a Clerk and Shop Assistant born Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. Then all the following siblings were born in Peterborough, Northamptonshire, Harry Christopher aged 28 a Ropemaker Seedsman etc, William Oliver aged 25 a Ropemaker Seedsman etc, Ethel May aged 24, Herbert Arthur aged 22 a Furniture Salesman and Kate Isabel aged 20.

  4. Information from a Gill SNOWDEN suggests there was another child a Winifred FREESTONE as now shown on Chart above. 
  5. There was one child born in Peterborough district with FREESTONE as surname and HARRISON as mothers maiden name.
    Information for Dorothy Ethel SAUNDERS
    Dorothy Ethel FREESTONE née SAUNDERS married again after the death of Wheaton Edward. She married in May quarter 1984 to a Percy G LING in May 1984 in Bury St Edmunds district, Suffolk. As can been seen she died less than a year later.
