  1. 1881 No 4 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
    1891 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
On the 1891 Census Lucy and and Benjamin were the only two at Sevenscore Cottages. None of the known six children were at home. We have found the oldest John and the third child Lucy, the oldest as a boarder and Lucy with one of Lucy's sisters. We still have to trace the rest.
1901 High Street, Minster, Kent. (Only Lucy with parents on this Census, but again something is wrong, she is down as Lucy W FULLER, married which she was but the name should be SETTERFIELD.)
    1911 High Street, Minster, Kent.
  2. 1861 Census - St Lawrence Street, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, Kent. The census page is RG9/538 Folio 3, Page 3.
    1871 Minster, Kent
1881 No 4 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
    1891 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
1901 High Street, Minster, Kent. (Only Lucy with parents on this Census, but again something is wrong, she is down as Lucy W FULLER, married which she was but the name should be SETTERFIELD.)
    1911 High Street, Minster, Kent.
  3. 1881 No 4 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
On the 1881 Census, Henry John is down with the surname SETTERFIELD, within the FULLER family and listed as son.
1891 Durlock, Minster, Kent - Lodging with John WALKER (51) born Minster, Kent, Farm Bailiff, his wife Ellen (46) and daughters Harriet (14), Emily (12) and Rosetta E (7) all born Minster, Kent.
Cannot find after the 1891 Census either with the name FULLER or SETTERFIELD.
  4. 1881 No 4 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
I still cannot find any other children on the 1891 Census other than Henry and Lucy, but the fact that Elizabeth Sinclair FULLER was a witness of her sister Lucy shows that at least one of them was still alive for this Census. It seems strange that only the parents were at home on the night of the Census and I was wondering if the children had died of an illness and they had sent the two remaining children away to avoid them getting the said illness, but this now does not seem the case.
1911 Census - 1911 Census - 1 Strand Cottages Cliffs End St Lawrence Ramsgate, Kent. With the family was a Alice WILLIAMS aged 14 (1897) a Nurse Girl, born Manstone, St Lawrence, Kent.  They had a daughter Winifred Madge born 1910.
  5. 1881 No 4 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent
I have found Lucy on the 1891 Census at Way House Farm, Minster, Kent. However the list does not make one hundred per cent sense as there is no Head of family shown. Thomas West, Son in Law heads the list which is fine as he is Lucy's mothers sisters husband. Then there is Harriet which is her mothers sister, then a James SETTERFIELD, as a son and also Ambrose as a son, but they cannot be the sons of Thomas West as they are 21 and 19 respectively and Thomas is only 35. Then comes Lucy FULLER age 13 as Granddaughter, followed by the children of Thomas and Harriet WEST, Lucy, Ambrose and James, there are also four boarders.  Did the enumerators, having had such a long list, just forget to put down the head of the household. If so either a John SETTERFIELD or his wife Lucy should have been down as the Head, if one of them had died before 1891, this would then make sense as the James and Ambrose, down as sons of John and Lucy are the correct age.
1901 Census - High Street, Minster, Kent. (Only Lucy with parents on this Census, but again something is wrong, she is down as Lucy W FULLER, married which she was but the name should be SETTERFIELD.)
1911 Census - 1911 Census - 151 St Mary's Road Buckland Portsmouth, Hampshire. No Charles, her husband with her, but, there is a child a Charles Eric SETTERFIELD born 1903.
  6. 1881 No 4 Sevenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent. Now found the death of this child.
  7. Now found the birth and death of this child.
  8. I cannot find any trace of this child, I was given the details but she does not appear on the BMD births or deaths or on a Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
