  1. 1901 21 Broad Street, Portsmouth, Hampshire. Albert was the son of William GRANT aged 54 a Skilled Labourer HM Dockyard born Beahampton Hampshire and his wife Rebecca S aged 48 born Portsmouth, Hampshire. There was another son a Wm A B GRANT aged 8 born Portsmouth, Hampshire. Then there was a Robert J CAMPELD a Stepson aged 21 a Labourer HM Docks and a Rhoda E CAMPELD a Stepdaughter aged 15 a Bookbinder and then an Adelaide E PEARCE a Stepdaughter, married aged 30 all born Portsmouth, Hampshire, so i appears that Rebecca had been married before.
