It appears that Richard Daniel HAMM married several times and I would think he was not divorced every time, his first marriage appears to have been on 17th August 1940 in Jefferson, Texas to a Rose SEAMORE but then he married again in 1941 in Aldershot, Surrey to Edna Molly Violet KENTON and yet again on 14th May 1946 in Lee Virginia USA to Mae ALSUP but Edna had at this time only just arrived in the USA. (apparently she was pregnant and had a girl who was adopted). Mae (Nannie) divorcd Richard on 13th July 1949 in Lee Virginia, USA. It also appears he married in Indiana on 24th September 1946 to an Alice Louise COX, on the 25th February 1946 in Jefferson, Texas to a Dorothy Gene GOODWIN and so it goes on, so it appears he went round the country marrying lots and lots of times sometimes with only a month or so between marriages. He was convicted several times but I cannot find a conviction for bigamy, he was convicted for passing forged cheques etc. Because of the above I have decided not to enter further details for him above as it is all too complicated to sort out. 1939 57 Kings Road, Aldershot M.B., Hampshire.
