    THREE TIMES WOUNDED. - Pte. george William Hancock, Buffs, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs F Hancock, of The Hill, Northflett, has arrived in Bath War Hospital from the Front, having been three times wounder. This gallant young man who is now in his 21st year, enlisted duting the opening stages of the war and sustained shrapnel injuries to the head in the batle of the Somme. Later he was again wounded in the leg and thigh. Before the was Pts. Hancock was employed at the Imperail Paper Mills, Northfleet. He was home on leave only five weeks ago.

    WEDDING
    THE Wedding took place at St. George's Church, Gravesend, on Saturday, of Mr. Leslie John Hancock, son of Mrs. Ida Hancock, an12 Huntley Close, Northfleet, and the late Mr. George Hancock, and Miss Anne Gloria Nellie Martin, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. P Martin, 15 Portland Road, Gravesend.
    The service was conducted by the Rev. Michael Beck. 
    The bride , given away by her father, wroe a full-length white borcade dress with a 6-ft train, a diamante tiara and a bouffant veil.
    She was attended by her four sisters, her cousin, Miss Julie Pearce, and Miss Dawn Foster, who wore short pink dresses and pink-flowered tiara.
    Three small pages were dress in Royal Marin unifords, They were made by the bride, a milliner, who also made her own gown and the bridesmaid's dresses.
    Mr. George Hancock (Bridegorrom's twin brother) was best man.
    The reception at St Botolph's Hall was attedned by 200 guests.
