THE wedding took place at St. Botolph's Church, Northfleet, on Saturday of Mr. Kenneth Loft, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Loft, Gillingham, and Miss Betty Primrose Hancock, eldest daughter of Mrs. E Hancock, we7 Dover Road, Northfleet.
The Vicar (the Rev. D. Glanfield) officiated,
The bride, given away by her uncle, Mr. E. Luck, wore a white lace and net over taffesta dress, a full-length veil and a head-dress of white satin flowers and mother-of-pears. She carried pink carnations and fern.
She was attended by Miss Beryl Hancock (birde's sister) in a pale lilac dress and a white feather head-dress: Miss Joyce LUCK (bride's cousin) and Miss Margaret Payne (bridegroom's niece), in pink taffeta dresses with flowers head-dresses; Mrs. Sheila Porter (bride's cousin) and Mrs Dolly Williams in lilac net and taffeta dresses with matching feathered head-dresses. The carried pink carnations.
Mr. Frank Owens was best man.
The reeption was held at the Community Hall, Northfleet, and was attended by 70 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Loft later left for the honeymoon at Cliftonville.
The bride wore a red coat with black assessories.
