    Information for Emily STEMP

1901 40 Victoria Place, Epsom, Surrey. Her son Percy John and his wife Emily were with her. There were also three boarders with the family.
1911 The Well House, Clandon Down's, West Clandon, Surrey. Emily is down as having been married 10 years and having had no children at the date of this Census.
As can ben seen Emily does not know where she was born but has her age as born in 1874 and at marriage gave her father's name as Charles. From this I did a search on the Census returns for an Emily STEMP born about 1875 with a Charles as her father and have come up with the following on the 1881 Census
1881 Headley Chalk Pit, Epsom, Surrey. Head Charles STEMP aged 51 born Wisboro Green, Sussex, Eliza Wife aged 42 born Ewuhurst, Surrey. Children Jessie aged 14 a Farmers Boy born Slinfold, Sussex, David aged 11 a Scholar born Wisbory Green, Sussex, Emily aged 6 a Scholar born Warnham, Sussex and Ellen aged 1 born Epsom, Surrey. I do think this is likely to be the correct family. As we are very interested in the STEMP family it would be great to be able to connect Emily into the family.
  11. 1885 Epsom, Surrey (baptism of Harvey Thomas)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
