    1871 Census - 32 Fountain Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands. There was A Frank HILLYARD, Grandson, Aged 6 born Ireland and a Isabella HEITZEBERG niece, aged 14 born California, America with the family.

    Constance and her husband Pierre had a son Jean STAÉL who married a Mathilde DELAHAYE in France on 18th March 1888.

    1860 Us Census - San Francisco District 8, San Francisco, California. Children - Margaret 9 born New York, Elizabeth 3 born California and Paul H, aged 2 months born California.
    1870 US Census - San Francisco Ward 8, San Francisco, California. Children - Margaret 17, At Home born New York, Elizabeth 12, Attending School, born California, Harris 10, Attending School, born California, and Mary 7, Attending School, born California. (was the Isabella HEITZEBERG who was with William and Ann and aged 14 on the 1871 Census (see note 5 above) part of this family. I would think she was. There was a Henry WILKINS aged 28 bron Bremen, with the family. There is a death for a Isabella HEITZEBERG on 3rd November 1942 in San Francisco, USA who was born on 8th December 1856 in California who I would think was the Isabella who was in Guernsey in 1871, the mothers maiden name is give as TIGHE which I would think was Catherine/Kates maiden name above so have added this to chart.
    1880 US Census - San Fancisco, California, USA  Children, but not very clear - V E (only initials given)  daughter aged 22 born France, at Home, Ansdide (but would think is was possibly Astride as that was the second name of his father) son aged19 works as a Leather Cutter, born California, Mary daughter aged 16 at Home born California. also with the family were Louisa WILKINS niece aged 7 born California USA  (father born in Germany, mother in New York) and a Emily S KEIRSTON? aged 66 a Professional Nurse, born Canada (parents born in England)
    1900 US Census - Township 3 (Excl. Redwood City), San Mateo, California  (just Paul and his wife who is down as Kate on this Census.
