IGI birth for William INGLETT (born 1826 St Ives) by a Member of the LDS Church gives the parents as William INGLETT and Elizabeth THOLBORNE
  3. 1841 Census - St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1851 Census - Back Lane, St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census - Hemingford Green, Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire
1871 Census - Filberts Walk, Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire
1881 Census - Filberts Walk, Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire

1901 Census - Filberts Walk, Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire
On 14th August 2007 a Tasha HOOKHAM wrote to me as follows; I noticed on the Inglett chart 0500 you were not sure about Sarah Johnson's
death date. She did die 1914 so the record you have is most probably the right one. She is buried with her husband William and daughter Louisa at Glebe Road Cemetery in Hemingford Grey. It was the only Inglett grave stone I could find there or in the Hemingford Grey Churchyard. Louisa died 8th Dec 1923 - it appears she never married. William 8 July 1910 Sarah 1 Feb 1914. I got all this information from the grave stone. One of the surviving
children must have had a proper gravestone erected at some point. I think probably when Louise died as the marker stone only has William and Sarah's
    initials on it.
  4. 1841 Census - St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1851 Census - Sheepmarket, Robin Hood Yard, St Ives, Huntingdonshire. David on the 1841 Census is down as John David on this Census.
1861 43 Richmond Place, Plumstead, Kent. With Charles and Hellena was a Visitor a Emily M WEBB aged 5 a Scholar born St Lukes, London.
1871 Census - 2 Steven Cottages, West Plumstead, London. Cannot find them at present on the 1861 Census. They had a Nurse Child, a Charles GIRVEN, down as being 1 and a half, born Woolwich, London.
1881 Census - 2 Stevens Cottages, West Plumstead, London.
  5. 1841 Census - St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1851 Census - Sheepmarket, Robin Hood Yard, St Ives, Huntingdonshire.
1861 Census - 11 Rengeney Place, Kennington, Lambeth, Surrey. Harriet is down as the wife of William B MASON but they have a child on the Census as William M INGLETT aged 6 born Lambeth, London. I made this connection although I cannot find the marriage on the BMD as with them is a James INGLETT, aged 18 (should be 16), a Groom, born St Ives. I think these are the right people
1871 Census - 2 Midway Place, Rotherhithe, Surrey
1891 Census - 76 Watson Street, St Paul's, Deptford, London. In the same property was William John Mason and his wife. They had a son William A aged 10 months, born Deptford, Kent
  6. 1841 Census - St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1851 Census - Sheepmarket, Robin Hood Yard, St Ives, Huntingdonshire. David on the 1841 Census is down as John David on this Census.
1861 Census - Caters Yard, St John, Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire. I think the marriage details are correct, but on the 1861 Census Sarah Jane is down as Jane, but marriage was in North Witchford district which covers Sarah/Jane's birth place Chatteris. Children on this Census - Alfred 5 born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, Edward 3 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire and Jane 1 born Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire.
1880; Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T9_623; Family History Film: 1254623; Page: 320.4000; Enumeration District: 110; Image: 0650. (Alfred keeps appearing as Alford for some reason, but I am certain it is the correct family) There is a Sarah J STEARNS aged 20 born England, down as daughter with the family, I would think this is the Jane we have above. Having found her on the BMD she was born Sarah Jane INGLETT, born September quarter 1859 Huntingdon district, Huntingdonshire. So I think we have now proved conclusively that this is the correct family. She is down as Jane on the 1861 Census. Next door to this family is an Alford INGLETT (this spelling again, but I think it should be Alfred) born 1856 (aged 24) in England, so I think it is the eldest son above, (see Note 10) There was a son an Edward STEARNS, aged 1 born Minnesota, USA
1900; US Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T623 765; Page: 1B; Enumeration District: 78. Alfred and Sarah are with their son Cecil on this Census. Shows the month and year of birth on this Census. Also shows year of immigration to the US
1910; Census Place: Winnebago, Houston, Minnesota; Roll: T624_706; Page: 3B; Enumeration District: 76; Image: 820.
Cannot find family on the US 1870 Census.
Cannot find any emigration details at present.
IGI for exact birth and death date.

I made this connection although I cannot find the marriage on the BMD as with them is a James INGLETT, aged 18 (should be 16), a Groom, born St Ives. I think these are the right people

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
