Living with them were wife's parents Alfred and Nora SHELFORD (Only 3 children have been found, Richard and 2 others. There was no entry for Allan's wife Nora elsewhere on the 1939 census so given the fact that the information on the transcript for this family was very inaccurate it could be that the first closed entry was for wife Nora)
