They had three children William Henry aged 10 born Birmingham, Warwickshire, Victor Harold aged 9 born Birmingham, Warwickshire and Beatrice Ethel aged 6 born Selly Park, Worcestershire. 1891 Elms Street, St Alkmund, Derbyshire 1901 42 Elms Street, Derby, Derbyshire. Henry was a widower, his son Lawrence was still with him. Included in the service records of Lawrence Jeffries (baker) is a handwritten note from his wife explaining the presence of Charles Henry Unwin. The wife of PTE LC Jeffries regiment number 295067 asc explains the child is actually her nephew and was adopted by them at 2 weeks old Told they had this son born 1916 but cannot find on BMD Included in the service records of Lawrence Jeffries (baker) is a handwritten note from his wife explaining the presence of Charles Henry Unwin. The wife of PTE LC Jeffries regiment number 295067 it explains the child is actually her nephew and was adopted by them at 2 weeks old Julie JEFFRIES my informant for a lot of the information on these charts emailed me as follows: I had a message saying that Lawrence Jeffries son of Henry Charles Jeffries a baker of Elm Street Derby wed Eliza Annie Unwin born 1884 (the message writers grandfathers sister) on 26 Aug 1908 and had a son Charles Henry born 1916.
