    1891 35 Stockbrook Street, St Werburgh, Derby, Derbyshire.
    1907 - Arthur, Martha and son Arthur went to the port of Quebec sailing from Liverpool on the "Kensington" and arriving on 20th July 1907. they were on their way to Ingersoll, Canada. Arthur is down as a Banker
    1909 Border Crossing from Canada to USA. Correct family as they have come from Ingersell in Canada and father lives at 29 William Street, Derby, England, they are on there way to Philadelphia. He is correctly down as a Salvation Army Office, his wife is Martha and Elsie is also with them aged 1 but the other child is down as Otto aged 3 (Arthur would have been 5 and I do not think Elsie was 1 year old in 1909 as she was only born in May of that year. They arrived in the US aged St Albans, Vermont.
    1911 On the "Baltic to the USA, Father given as Isaac JEFFRIES of 39 William Street, Derby, Derbyshire, so proving this is the correct family.

Martha is down as being 29 a Wife from Derby England but traveling from Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. Father is given as Isaac from Derby, England but that must be Arthur's father she is 5ft 4 inches tall, complexion is fair, with brown Hair and blues eyes

    1920 Medway, Norfolk, Massachusetts, USA: Julie Jeffries says they had a son Stephen Arthur Jeffries and that Marilyn Ruth NORTHEY had second spouse Arthur John Zeits. (Her parents were Earl Woodbury Northey and Ruth Florence Dukeshire 1907 born Lynn Essex County MA and died 1953.)
    1930 Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts, USA. Arthur was a Boarder on this Census.
  4. As can be seen Elsie's birth in recorded in Canada so the family must have returned to England before emigrating to the US in 1911 (now see various trips they made between Canada, England and the US.
