  1. 1851 Rawson Street, Basford, Nottinghamshire.
    1861 Not found at present
    1871 Not found at present
    1881 Not found at present
1891 Springdale, Tormoham, Devon. (This is a possible for this Enoch, but as can be seen I have not found him at present on the 1861, 1871 or 1881 Census, but he was born in 1844 in Basford, Nottinghamshire, so exactly correct. He is a Wesleyan Minister and married to a Julia, who is 45 and born in India a British Subject, so possibly they has been living in India as Missionaries. (see following)
(Having Googled this there is a lot of information about Enoch and it seems to confirm what I have found. One sentence on a Web Site seems to sum up the situation: "An army chaplain who had run away from his home in Nottingham twice, aged 14, giving the wrong age, became a 'drummerboy' in the [British] Army, ended up in India [Sep 1859] and never saw his parents again". The Julia I have found with him in Devon in 1891 appears to be his second wife. He was married in India to a Frances Williams, b. 6 Sep 1835, Southport, Lancashire  d. Abt 30 Dec 1886, Sewri, Bombay, India (51 years) and with her he had the following children:
    Edward Jeffries,
    Ada Frances Jeffries, b. 1866, Nainital, Uttarakhand, India , d. Abt 1868 (2 years)
    Alfred Enoch Jeffries, b. 1867, India , d. 1956, Brighton, Sussex (89 years)
    Frances E E "Fanny" Jeffries, b. Abt 1867,
    Evangeline May "Eva" Jeffries, b. Abt 1875, d. 1951 (~ 76 years)
I do not think he had any children with his second wife Julia.

Frances was with her father John WILLIAM aged 37 a Superintendent of Works born Denbigh, Denbighshire and is wife Elizabeth aged 40 born Hawdish?, Lancashire and her siblings, Sophia aged 14 born Southport, Lancashire, Margaret C aged 11 a Scholar born Southport, Lancashire, Mary E aged 10 a Scholar born Southport, Lancashire, Elizabeth A aged 8 a Scholar born Southport, Lancashire, John R aged 6 a scholar born Birch, Essex, Richard S aged 4 a scholar born Birch, Essex. 8. Information on this Chart and the ones forward from it have been taken from the following Web Site http://clanbarker.com/index.php who I have contacted and been given permission to use the information found on it for which I thank them.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
