  1. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
There is no Felstead 1851 Census.
IGI information for marriage and maiden name for Sarah. Also baptisms for children who all appear to have been baptised at "Independent, Braintree, Essex. (the names and years all fit, but I wonder if there was an Independent Church in Felsted and the IGI records appear in Braintree for possibly a circuit of churches as Braintree is a good five miles from Felsted and I would not have thought they would have gone there to Church. Cannot find the christening for Sarah (child). There are quite a few other baptism at the same church in this period with different parents, perhaps all the JIGGIN family went to that church to have their children baptised.
  2. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
1871 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex.

  3. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
    1861 Census - Rivenhall, Essex
  4. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
1861 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex, Samuel was head of household, his mother Sarah was living with him, a widow aged 67. Also with him was a Samuel JIGGINS, a nephew, aged 9 born Rivenhall, Essex, see JIGGINS Chart 0401.
1871 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex.
1881 Census - Willers (Willis) Green, Felsted, Essex. There were lots of people who might be related. Samuel now married to a Sarah as above, with him was his niece Amelia (see Jiggins Chart 0401 and her husband. Also a brother in law, a Michael Livermore, aged 69, an Ag Lab born Felsted, Essex, there was also a family with a George Lanham as its head aged 23 born Felsted, Essex, his wife being Eliza aged 24 born Chelmsford, Essex, do not know of any relationship at present
  5. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
  6. 1871 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex. All with Samuel JIGGINS, see JIGGINS Chart 0401. The Aunt is Sarah, but I do not have a Sarah as a daughter. I have no other Sarah other than the mother of Samuel, so I do not think it is her as this would have been down as mother not aunt. I have therefore added an additional child on this Chart.
  7. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
1861 Census - Willow Green, Felsted, Essex.
There are a lot of JIGGINS families to be found on the 1861 Census, all born in Felsted although some are living in nearby villages. I am sure they are all connected, most of them brothers of Daniel above, although there is a three that are born in the early 1800's
  8. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex
1861 Census - Farm House, Fullor? Street, Fairstead, Essex
    1871 Railway Square, Chelmsford, Essex
1881 10 Railway Square, Chelmsford, Essex
  9. 1841 Census - Willers Green, Felsted, Essex

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
