    WEDDING AT HOVE
    Mr. A. Johnson - Miss E. M. Godley
The Parish Church of All Saints', Hove was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, when Miss Elsie Marian Godley, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Godley,of 21 Stirling Place, Hove was married to Mr Albert Johnson of 97 Cromwell Road, Hove, youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs Walter Johnson of East Molesey, Surrey.
The Vicar of Hove (Canon F. J. Meyrick) officiated and appropriate music - including Hardel's "Largo" - was played at the organ by Mr Reynolds.
The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin, prettily inset with lace and a tulle veil embroidered with lovers' knots of satin, mounted with an orange blossom wreath. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
In attendance on the bride were the Misses Katie Maidie Godley (as chief bridesmaid), Phoebe Hill (friend of the bridesmaid and Rosina Payne (the bridegrooms niece). The chief bridesmaid wore a blue florel georgette frock while the other two wore lemon floral georgette. Each carried a bouquet of red carnations, and wore a necklet (the gift of the bridegroom).
The duties of the best man were carried out by Mr S. Oakes, of Orme Lane, Bayswater, London.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
