    Grace & Eric Crowther had 3 children Eric, Jeannie & Peter.
    Grace worked in her younger years as a domestic? For the Admiral on the Titanic?. Need to double check I do remember this being talked about many years ago. Eric was in the R.A.F?

  7. There are three children on the BMD born in Portsmouth district with the surname JOHNSON and the mothers maiden name as OWENS at the correct time who I believe are children of this couple. I also believe that there were three children from Ella's first marriage to George A  EPHGRAVE who she married in December quarter 1944 in Portsmouth district, Hampshire

    Norman & Patsy Johnson/Owens: Patsy had Stephanie & Stephen Owens( I believe they were twins). Steve has made his fortune in America and has many property's abroad.
    Stephanie resides in Portsmouth.( Both from a previous Marriage)
    Jennifer Julie Jane Joanna Johnson? Loads of J middle names. Jessie had 1 child Charlie Saunders. Patsy was very beautiful in her younger years but came across as a gypsy within the family?.
    Michael-John Johnson was in the Armed services married no children.
    (Norman use to do markets in the Tri-corn in Portsmouth).

    Raymond & Pat Johnson had 5 children: Gary, Kevin, Nigel Nicola & Christopher.
    Sadly Pat was found at Portsmouth harbour drowned Could not swim - suspected suicide.
    Christopher had a car accident after passing his driving test and is wheelchair bound. He was involved in the Australian Olympics? 
  9. Jacqueline PARRY wrote on 2nd May 2013:
    I do recollect Stephen Sidney Johnson sharing that family were trying to get in contact with the Johnson clan and that they were from Canada! But he misled the letter!.
    There was also a large family bible who knows where that went as it had all the names of the family in the front of it.
    Stephen as a young lad was also hit by shrapnel in the war and walked with a straight leg due to the injury.
    There are loads of pics of him in the local Portsmouth Newspaper A whole Page in the Obituary section.

I believe there were at least two children from the first marriage of Jessie to Harold Edward JOHNSON, but there appears to be another couple in the Portsmouth district with the name EDWARDS and the mothers maiden name as JOHNSON in the same period so not sure which children belong to which couple.

    Jessie had Pauline (Polly) out of wedlock?.
    Met and married Mr Edwards and had 3 children: Graham, Marie (Minnie) and Diane.

    Gordon married Doris Drew Adopted Actual name( Frances Lee ) born 22nd Dec 1943 not 22nd Nov 1943 as on adoption records birth mother (Hopkins) Surrey Area- paid Privately prior to adoption?
    Married in Portsmouth posted to Honiton East Devon, then Germany. Gordon was in the Grenadier Guards and travelled all over Germany/Belize/Jamaica/Egypt.
    Had 6 children: Jacqueline, Malcolm, Scott, Kevin, Paris, Lindsey.
    Tyrone Kiely died age 3 years Blastoma Cancer- Lindsay's son.
    Sadly Paris died age 37.
    Gordon died in Swindon, Wiltshire as too ill to return home to Southern Ireland had gone to Portsmouth for the funeral of his late brother Norman. Was diagnosed with cancer 3 months to live.

    I have not added the charts on from this one as I believe most of the people on those charts would be still alive. However I have been in contact with a Jacqueline PARRY who gave me the original information for this chart, since then she has given me details for most of the children above, so I have added her comments for each child she mentions.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family.
