Living with them was husband's brother Alfred (22) single Labourer General born South Norwood, Croydon, Surrey. Emily is down as having had two children, one survives and one had died at the date of this Census 1911 128 Clifton Road South Norwood S E. Living with them was father's brother Alfred (22) single Labourer General born South Norwood, Croydon, Surrey We were told there was a son Alfred and we had him down as being born in 1903 but we cannot find a registration on the BMD in that year, on the 1911 census it appears on the details for Emily Annie JORDAN née STEMP that she had had two children one of whom had died, so there is a possiblity that the Wilfred Alfred STEMP born in 1909 was that child, however there is an Alfred H JORDAN born with the mothers maiden name as STEMP in March quarter 1913 so we might have just got the wrong information and Alfred was born 10 years later than we thought. There are other children with the name JORDAN and the mother's maiden name as STEMP in the Croydon area, and these can be found on JORDAN Chart 0301. As two brothers married two sisters we are not sure which children belong to which couple. We were told there were two children for this couple, with the queries above for the second child we believe this is the most likely and on JORDAN Chart 0301 where we were told there were three children we feel this is the most likely children for them.
