  1. IGI Baptism.
  2. 1851 Census - Moore-Critchell.
  3. 1841 Census - Witchampton, Dorset.
  4. 1861 Census - Moore Critchell, Dorset
  5. 1871 Census - 8 The Buildings, Moore- Critchell, Dorset,
  6. 1881 Census - Buildings, Moore-Critchell, Dorset. There was a Deboroah K MUSSON Granddaughter, aged 7 born Corby Lincolnshire with the family, she was down as a Scholar.
I looked for a MUSSON on the 1881 Census in Corby, Lincolnshire to tie up with Deborah. the very first name that comes up is a Abigail (the could be Florence MUSSON aged 39 born Moore-Critchell, Dorset. but I do not have an Abigail as a daughter of Stephen and if 39 is correct she would have been born around 1842 which nearly ties up with Elizabeth but she was born in Witchampton, but as the rest of the family was in Moore-Critchell this could be in order. There is no birth on the BMD for an Abigail KIMBER and none comes up on the IGI. It still seems to much of a coincidence for a MUSSON to be in Corby in 1881 born in Moore-Critchell which is only a very small place, not to be the correct person.
Deborah would have been born in 1874 if she was 7 as stated but ages do vary and on the BMD there is a Deborah Kimber MUSSON, (the only Deborah MUSSON that comes up) who was born in March quarter of 1872 in Bourne district, Lincolnshire, so again this must be the child who appears as Granddaughter on the 1881 Census.
The childrens names on the 1881 Census also tie in very neatly with the family names of the KIMBER family. There is a William Henry 13, Charles Edward 11, (and then a gap for a 9 year old which would tie in with the BMD date for Deborah (and this is a family name)), then George Thomas 7, Sarah 3 and Edgar Stephen, 1. All of them born in Corby, Lincolnshire.  I think it must be the family and I think the mother must be Elizabeth, but when I put the Chart on will put this note on that chart and let others decide.
The father was a Thomas MUSSON, born Corby, Lincolnshire aged 47 he was a Carpenter. Living at Vine cottage, High Street, Corby, Lincolnshire. It gets more confusing, I have now found the marriage on the BMD and it is for an Eliza Jemima KIMBER to a Thomas MUSSON in the June quarter of 1864 in the Bourne district, Lincolnshire. But this at least gives us a name which is not Abigail. And the BMD shows the birth of a Jemima Eliza KIMBER in the December quarter of 1841 in the Wimborne district of Dorset. So again a discrepancy, the names reversed and two years earlier than I had hoped.  I still think the child is the Elizabeth down as 9 on the 1851 Census.
  7. 1891 Census - High Street, Corby where our Abigail Florence appears as Eliza so getting nearer to the correct name. They are at High Street, Corby and Thomas is still down as a Carpenter. Children William H, 23 George T 17, both Carpenters, then there was Stephen 11 and Frank 9 both Scholars, all born Corby, Lincolnshire.
  8. 1871 Census, and I really think the names are getting more confusing, as very clearly the wife of Thomas on this census is Elma and she is down as being born in Moore Mitchell, still in High Street, Corby and Thomas still a Carpenter, children, Elizabeth M aged 5, William H aged 3, Charles E aged 1 all born Corby, Lincolnshire.
  9. 1861 Census, Cute? Hole? House - now found Eliza on this census as a Servant (Laundry) with Gareth STUART (again writing bad but I think that is what it says, he was an MP. His wife, daughter and cousin were with him, and then there were 19 servant and a lodger.
  10. 1901 Census - Truham? Road, Corby, Lincolnshire

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
