1851 Corscombe, Dorset 1861 The Village, Corscombe, Dorset as son-in-law (step-son) to John MARKS 1871 Beaminster Bottom, Beaminster, Dorset 1881 Census - 47 Water Street, Winterbourne Stoke, Wiltshire (six children on this Census - the eldest Fred is 14 and is down as a Shepherd born Beaminster, Dorset. Then there is George 12 a Scholar, born Beaminster, Charles 8 a Scholar, born Corscombe, Dorset, then Amelia 6 a Scholar, born Corscombe, Dorset, then Alfred 3 born West Lulworth, Dorset and finally Joseph 5 months born Winterbourne Stoke, Wiltshire. 1871 Beaminster Bottom, Beaminster, Dorset (I am certain that the marriage I have found in 1870 is the correct one, it would appear that as Fred and George appear on this Census that Job and Amelia had them before they married, perhaps they thought Amelia was too young and made her wait until she was nearly 21.
