  1. 1841 High Street, Buntingford, Layston, Hertfordshire. There was an Eliza LINDSELL aged 23 with the family and under her there is an Edward LINDSELL aged 20 months so I would think he was her child. Then before the two lines which usually show the end of a family there is a David MILES aged 56 a Farmer.
    1851 Wyddiall, Buntingford, Hertfordshire. Edward was with his son in law James ANDREWS and his married daughter Rebecca ANDREWS, also with them was a Charles LINDSELL a Nephew aged 4 born Layston, Hertfordshire a Scholar and Jane LINDSELL a Niece aged 2 born Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

His Father Was Edward LINDSELL aged 55, an Ag Labourer and his wife Frances aged 46 and then William, none of them born in Hertfordshire. Then further children of Edward and Frances, Ann aged 12, James aged 9 and Lucy aged 2 all born in Hertfordshire, Then there is Williams wife Eliza and their son Edward.
    1851 Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Middlesex. With the family was Charlotte LINDSELL Sister aged 27 a House Maid born Buntingford, Hertfordshire and James LINDSELL Brother aged 19 a Coal Carter born Buntingford, Hertfordshire.
    1861 Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.
    1871 Langford Villa, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
    1881 Eleanor Road, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. With the family was an Emily E a Granddaughter aged 9 a Scholar born Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. Mary A ALLCHIN his daughter who was married was with them, but no husband, and her son Albert W ALLCHIN aged 4 born Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. William's wife Eliza was not with the family although William is still down as married.
    1891 79 Eleanor Road, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. With daughter Ellen NORCUTT née LINDSELL, her husband and daughter.

    1871 Waltham Lane, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. The ANDREWS and DOLINS families are in the same household. The ANDREWS come first and James is the head, and the the DOLLINGS and James (DOLLINGS) DOLIN is down lodger

    1891 Middle Row, Walth Cross, Hertfordshire. Charlotte was with her married daughter Charlotte and family.

    1861 Swan Field, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.  (query child before William and Ann's marriage)
    1881 125 Albert Street, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire. There were five Boarders with them.
    1891 70 Orwell Street, Great Gimsby, Lincolnshire. There is an Ann MARSH down as wife correct age for our Ann and born in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. She is down as a wife to a William MARSH aged 53 born Chatham, Kent. This could be our Ann MACER but it does give a problem with her death in Caistor in 1892 where she is down as Ann MACER. Cannot find a marriage so perhaps they were not actually married)

    Information for Amelia ROGERS
    Amelia remarried on 17th August 1862 Cheshunt, Hertfordshire to Joseph MOSS. There does not appear to be any children from either marriage.
