Ada (known as Dolly) never married and looked after him until his death. She worked for the Cherry Blossom Boot Polish company in Chiswick as a personnel officer until her retirement when she sold up and moved to Deal in Kent to be near her two sisters who had both retired down there. Both Lilian and Annie were Secretaries who married their bosses. I spent quite a bit of my childhood with each of them as my Mother preferred to work and they had money and we hadn't. From what I knew Lilian only had one child (a boy) who died as a baby and the mention of another one comes as quite a shock. I think it must also have died very young as I never met anyone else and no-one was ever spoken about. Nancy had one girl - Elizabeth - who was about six months older than me and she caught some sort of liver disease from her Nanny and died very young. Nancy then half adopted me and I spent many years with them to go to private schools!! They are all (Nancy, Percy and Elizabeth) buried at Little Missenden church in Buckinghamshire and Percy donated a lych-gate for the cemetery in memory of Elizabeth and a bell, font and stained glass window (in memory of the second world war) to the church.
