And I have the following notes for her....
    Information from John TERRY 6/2015
My brother John sent me information about a Sarah STEMP born 1844 being admitted to Brookwood Asylum, Woking, Ssrrey on the 4th October 1890.
I searched my records and the only possible Sarah born about this time was Sarah PURYER married to James STEMP. However, she was at home with her husband on the 1891 census so I was uncertain as to whether this was the right person.
However, John has now sent the following information:
    Sarah STEMP
    Female aged 46
married a Labourer's wife and Church of England,
previous address The Common, Cranleigh, Surrey, County,
Union or Parish to which chargeable was Hambledon.
On whose Authority was she sent P. RALLI J.P.
and the date and by whom the Medical Certificate was signed was A. A. NAPPER on the 3rd October 1890,
The Form of Medical Disorder was Melancholia and the Supposed Cause of Insanity was Not Know.
Her bodily condition and name of Disease (if any) was Fair (Tumour of Left Breast)
Duration of existing attacks was 3 months and she was 46 at first attack.
She was discharged on the 20th January 1891, and she was down as recovered.
As you can see she was discharged 20th January 1891 so in time to be at home for the 1891 Census, age correct, husband a Labourer, living in Cranleigh etc etc.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
