  1. 1861 Census - Grange Walk, Bermondsey, Surrey
  2. 1871 Census -  32 Grange Walk, Bermondsey, Surrey
  3. 1891 Census - 19 Albion Street, Islington, Middlesex
  4. Note - On Ancestry.com on these Censuses they have not managed to Index Mellars as such in hardly any instances on any of the MELLAR Charts, but I am certain because of addresses, where born and ages and the people involved that I have the correct family in each case.
  5. 1881 - Census - 32 Grange Walk, Bermondsey, Surrey
  6. 1891 Census - 22 Grange Walk, Bermondsey, Surrey. With the family was a Arthur MELLARS, Grandson, age 10 born London. a Scholar. I have not at present place this child with one of the children above.
  7. 1901 Census - 32 Grange Walk, Bermondsey, Surrey. Down as MILLAR, but correct address and their is also a Frederick MELLARS at the same address as Head of Household. This 1891 Census shows 22 Grange Walk, but would think it should be 32 as they had been living in Grange Walk since 1861 and in 1871, 1881 and 1901 they were at 32. I just have an idea that Aaron MELLARS possibly had the second name of Frederick and it is this Frederick MELLARS who is at 32 Grange Walk with his Grandfather, he is married and his wife is Hannah, which would be correct for Hannah GERMAIN.
  8. My informant says George Aaron MELLARS was born in Bermondsey, the Censuses say he was born in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
  9. There is an Elizth TRAUNTER born 1828 in Worksop on the 1841 Census. Her parents were Thomas and Mary. This is the only Elizabeth TRAUNTER I can find in the Worksop area around the correct age. Nothing on 1851 Census and should have been married by 1861, cannot find a marriage.
  10. On the baptism of Frederick the mother is given as Mary.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
