1851 Cannot find at present 1861 Census - 2 High Street, Folkstone, Kent. A James MILLER, aged 18 an Apprentice Bootmaker, born Ramsgate, Kent, was living with a family the family of George LAMBERT Bootmakers. 1871 Census - 19 Sussex Street, Ramsgate, Kent 1881 Census - 19 Sussex Street, Ramsgate, Kent 1891 Census - 79 Hardness Street, Ramsgate, Kent. There was also a Jane MILLER widow, mother age 92 living on own means, born Deal, Kent. (I just think that this is possibly Jane BEANEY née SUTTON as the age is correct, she would have been a widow as her husband died in 1863 and she was baptised in Dover, Kent, (near to Deal), but of course it could be the mother of James Henry MILLER as it would be if he had given the details.) 1901 Census - 9 Boundary Road, Ramsgate, Kent - James H MILLER aged 58, Retired Postman, born Ramsgate, Kent, Elizabeth MILLER, wife, age 59, born Ramsgate, Kent, Stephen MILLER, son, age 23 Able Seaman, RN Navy Man born Ramsgate, Kent. 1911 8 Theodore Terrace Margate Road, Ramsgate, Kent. With James, Elizabeth and Frederick was Frederick's wife Hilda (no issue) 1871 Census - 19 Sussex Street, Ramsgate, Kent 1881 Census - 19 Sussex Street, Ramsgate, Kent 1891 Census - 79 Hardness Street, Ramsgate, Kent. Cannot read the full occupation of James as enumerators cross it marked heavily across it. 1871 Census - 19 Sussex Street, Ramsgate, Kent 1891 Census - Middle Street, Brixham, Devon. Edwin and Ellen had two children on this Census, both born in Ramsgate, Ellen May aged 1 and Blanche T aged 6 months. 1901 1 Torbay Villas, Dane Road, St Lawrence Intra, Ramsgate, Kent. Ellen is down as wife but no husband with her. Children May E aged 11, Blanche F aged 0 and George E H aged 3 all born Ramsgate, Kent 1911 2 Dane Road, Ramsgate, Kent. Ellen is still down as married but again no husband with her. Three children Ellen 21 a Tailoress, Blanche 20 a Waitress and George 13 School, all born Ramsgate, Kent.
