Family History, Negus Chart 0500 Thomas Negus, Sarah Allen and Mary ???

1851 Church Row, Benwick, Cambridgeshire 1861 Church Row, Benwick, Cambridgeshire 1871 Great Whyte, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. I worked from the 1901 Census back for this family and the 1871 Census gives us a different picture on this family. The main difference is that the wife is not he same. It was Mary on the 1881 and 1891, but it is Sarah on this Census. However living with the family is a Mary ALLEN sister, unmarried, aged 38 Servant (out of employ) born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. I thought to start with that perhaps between 1871 and 1881 Sarah had died and he had married her sister, but she is down as being 38, five years older than Thomas, whereas the Mary on the 1881 and 1891 is down as being a year younger. I have therefore revised the chart to show two marriages the first to a Sarah ALLEN and the second to a Mary ???. We do not know if all the children were Thomas and Sarah's or if any of the children after and including Kate were the children of Mary. With the family was a Cyril NEGUS, grendson, aged 12 School, Green Grocers Errand Boy born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire. 1871 Great Whyte, Ramsey, Huntingdonshire.
