On the 1947 Census Daisy is at the same address as follows: 1947 33 Devonshire Road, Southgate, London (London Electoral Roll) At this address Daisy L POWELL, Frederick B POWELL and Marjorie C JARMAIN from this it is possible that Frederick B POWELL was the father (could be an elder brother of Joyce) So on 1939 Census there is the following 1939 59 Fairway, Southgate, London. Frederick B POWELL born 30th March 1898 Conductor Stage Carriage, Daisy L POWELL born 16th June 1901 Home Duties Unpaid Domestic. Then two records officially closed. So I believe these indeed the parents of Joyce. from this is would appear that Frederick B POWELL married December quarter 1923 in Barnet district, Middlesex to a Daisy L EDWARDS and finally from that Joyce E POWELL was born September quarter 1927 Pancras district, London (mothers maiden name as Edwards) NOTE - At the beginning of the line the name is UNNIOT and through the years it changes until today it is ONYETT. At present we are not certain as to when the name actually became ONYETT. As there are several variants in the spelling I have put the name ONYETT first on all the charts and then followed that with the spelling for that particular chart and indexed the whole line under ONYETT. ie ONYETT/UNYAT Chart 0700. The actual name as we have it appears for the actual people on the Chart.
